The top model Alessandra Ambrosio chose Ara Vartanian jewellery for Harper’s Bazaar Icon event in New York.

Each year at the end of New York Fashion Week, a star-studded list of guests gather for the event sponsored by the American magazine Harper’s Bazaar. In 2015, the always elegant Carine Roitfeld and the inspiring Jean-Paul Goude gathered the faces of their portfolio on the red carpet of the legendary Plaza Hotel with Katy Perry as the main attraction of the party.

Alessandra Ambrosio, to further shine in the night, was wearing an Alexandre Vauthier gown and Ara Vartanian jewellery. Selected by the Brazilian top model, the 18k yellow gold earrings are set with white diamonds and inverted black diamonds and offer geometric lines. The piece matched perfectly her choice of the 18K yellow gold three-finger ring with an antique brown diamond (4.70ct) as the central stone, inverted princess black diamonds (6.26ct), brown radiant diamonds (2.12ct) and white diamonds (2.83 ct).

Throughout his career, Ara Vartanian has found audacious solutions for his creations, such as the inverted diamonds and the two or three-finger rings. The pieces with inverted diamond stand out thanks to their innovative design. The two and three-finger rings have become iconic as they allow sizeable and valuable stones to be used with anatomical comfort, achieving a structural balance that would be impossible with conventional parts. Thus, the Brazilian designer proves once again that it is worth creating pieces that are provocative, modern and comfortable.
